Rising Stars (AGES 3-to-5)

Rising Stars focuses on basic athletic movement, fun and playing with others through the sport of basketball. With a curriculum developed in partnership between Seneca College’s School of Early Childhood Education and Canada Basketball’s Long-Term-Athlete-Development model, our program emphasizes development in key areas including:

• Physical coordination and timing

• Executive functioning

• Working with others

The program also leverages specialized equipment that is tailored for this age group including:

• Size-3 basketballs

• Adjustable height net

• Age-appropriate training tools
